Through this program of study, you will develop the ability to be a leader in literacy and an advocate for all learners. In our nationally recognized program, you will:
- Develop a strong knowledge base in the foundation of the science of reading, as well as dyslexia.
- Become proficient in a wide range of methods and materials, including visual media and technology, to meet diverse learners’ needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, families and the community to enrich or reform practices.
- Employ formal and informal assessments to identify learners’ strengths and needs and to inform teaching of whole groups, small groups and individual students.
